Her natural take on various styles of dance can be attributed to her eclectic mix of Chinese, Trinidadian and Jamaican roots. Over the years she has had the opportunity to travel the world, to satisfy her wanderlust and interest with exploring new cultures. She has also had the opportunity to learn from great teachers and choreographers who inspired her to pursue her passion for dance.
She knew that she wanted to share her love for dance and use her past experiences to teach and inspire students who share the same passions. It is a special place where dancers feel a part of a family and are able to collaborate and be creative in an encouraging environment. Edz brings forth a fresh uniqueness and level of creativity to Hip Hop instruction.
He focuses on the history, foundations and technique required to establishing a strong hip hop dancer prior to hitting the choreography aspect of the dance style. His unparalleled style of hip hop incorporates traces of Dancehall and Afro Beats just to name a few. In addition, he was recently in Motivating Excellence- Intensive Program series with world renowned choreographer Rhapsody James. Queenie was born in Manila, Philippines and grew up in a culture that loved and celebrated all types of music.
From school, to church, to her weekly family block parties, Queenie had always been surrounded with good music and good vibrations ever since she was young. After then moving to Canada at the age of 11, her love for music continued to grow and she learned to express herself in a foreign country through dance. Dance became a means of expression, escape and belonging. Music and dance became such a transformative part of her life that what was once only a 'hobby' had finally become her purpose and drive.

Queenie's earliest formal training in urban dance styles HipHop, House, Waacking etc. Today, she continues to master and improve on her skills as a dancer, choreographer and teacher to be able to provide quality dance education to her own students. She aims to share what she has learned in her own dance journey to other dancers — to help them discover themselves through dance and to equip them with the necessary skills, technique and mindset to become successful in their own dance journeys.
A and K. Her company, Lua Shayenne Dance Company LSDC , presents dance works that explores current subject matters with the aim to be a vehicle for spiritual and social progress. Jennifer has been dancing since the young age of seven and has trained in the areas of ballet, jazz, acrobatics, lyrical, contemporary, modern and hip- hop.
She was a competitive dancer for 8 years where she travelled throughout Canada and the United States to compete, winning several top awards. After Jennifer danced independently and for small companies in a few minor shows, she attended York University where she attained a degree in English and Dance, and furthered her education by receiving a teaching degree. She has taught recreational and competitive classes for several dance studios around the GTA and has won several awards for her ideas and unique approach to choreography.
She has travelled internationally to Los Angeles and New York and locally, to Toronto on several occasions to learn the latest dance trends from top choreographers, so that she may share and pass these skills on to her students. Jennifer founded the dance program at St.
Roch Catholic Secondary School where she created programming for dancers in grades nine to twelve using the Ontario Dance Curriculum. Jennifer is thrilled to join the City Centre Dance teaching team and is eager to share her love of dance with others. The current artistic director of Breakaway Entertainment; Adam has been in the dance industry for over 23 years.
She then went on to complete her Bachelor of Education degree at Western University, where she specialized in English and Drama. One of her original plays has been short listed for the Wildfire Playwriting Competition in Calgary.
In the fall of she began teaching drama classes at The Milton Centre for the Arts. Christina is trained in Jazz, tap and ballet and has taught children's dance classes for The City of Mississauga for ten years. Seven years into the business, Emma Bartolomucci has choreographed eight full length musicals and three physical theatre pieces. She has taught dance, drama and music with several different Toronto based companies including York University and Ryerson School of Performance Summer Intensives. While on the road or at sea performing and traveling, Emma created travelingdancer; a platform where she choreographs and occasionally writes music for her dance videos around the world.
With lots of experience in dance and a great foundation in music and story telling, she believes that this is her formula for creation. Her medium is movement. When there are no words left, we must dance. Dhruv Naik is a recent graduate from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Hotel Management; he is currently pursuing further education at Ryerson. First and foremost, his true passion in life has always been an involvement in the world of dance, food, and networking.
His love for dance is clear if you knew how involved he was with his undergrad team at Ryerson University, where he was the lead Bollywood choreographer and co-captain of the team for 3 years. For the past 3 years, Dhruv has been heavily involved in an international Bollywood Fusion dance team known as Aluminati. Despite being the only Canadian on the team, Aluminati has become his international dance family.
Furthermore, 7 years ago Dhruv and his elder brother Parth Naik, co- founded their own bollywood fusion dance company called Jadoo Entertainment Dance Company, which has since then reached great heights. Originally Jadoo began performing at cultural festivals, weddings, conferences, and started offering dance classes for students of ages 5 and above, all across the GTA Greater Toronto Area in However, it has further evolved and it most recently has found success with its critically- acclaimed Bollywood Dance Musical Production, 'Devdas', which sold out 4 times over in the past year with Dhruv as one of their principal choreographers and creative directors for the show.
Hollywood Jade is one of Toronto's greatest visionary talents who continues to find new and exciting ways to present his timeless creativity to the masses.

This dancer turned choreographer turned director has showcased his multidimensional artistic creations on both the big and small screen, local and international stages and his work with many organizations, companies, artists and talents. He works continually to cultivate new and exciting collaborations and push the boundaries of his creations. Hollywood Jade has worked in the industry for over ten years. Hollywood Jade was also the only contestant in the history of the hit show So You Think You Can Dance to go from a contestant to assistant in the same season.
As a choreographer, Hollywood Jade quickly became sought after by some of Canada's leading performers and artists. His attention to detail and knowledge of the industry set him apart from his peers. His interest and career led him to begin dabbling in video direction. This curiosity has led to a full blown career in this field resulting in a handful of videos under his belt and his own successful performance company "Hollywood Presents".

He is also involved in various hosting events, artistic consultations and video direction projects. He reminds himself daily of a quote he heard from one of his idols. Born and raised in Toronto Ontario, Raffaele Brereton began his journey in dance at the age of High school talent shows provided his first public platforms to dance and perform, which allowed him to grow and develop his skills as a dancer.
Raffaele has taken every opportunity possible to continuously shape his craft. He has performed on small and large scale stages, television, and in movies. The GETMAD Syndicate is an urban dance training program and dance crew that was created to educate dancers on the fundamental elements of hip hop and urban styles of dance.
